Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Career and Adult Education
Choose a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with a Career and Adult Education (CTE) Comprehensive Specialization if your goal is to become a master teacher with both instructional and leadership roles in career and adult education. Participants are eligible for Florida in-state tuition waivers.
Online Learning Environment
Do you want to take classes while continuing to work at a full-time job? Do you live outside the UWF campus community?
Good news! All of the core classes and content area courses are offered online. Busy students like you can access assignments and post responses to discussion boards and chat rooms at their convenience. Through UWF’s online campus, students interact with classmates and professors in a diversified virtual "classroom."
As a student in the master's degree program, you must complete 21 semester hours of required core courses and at least 15 semester hours of Career and Adult Education courses for your cognate program of study.
As part of your program, you may also take courses for two additional CTE endorsements:
Workforce Director (previously, Vocational Director)
Workforce Education (previously, Cooperative Education)
