Community Outreach, Research, and Learning Center

The CORAL Center is proud to serve the community-based research needs of the local region while also serving the research and learning needs of graduate students, faculty, and staff at UWF.


Note: The UWF Community Outreach Research and Learning (CORAL) Center has moved to a new location: Building 78, Room 134A.

The UWF CORAL Center works to provide the following services:

    • Engaging UWF graduate students in authentic research and evaluation projects
    • Serving community-based organizations by conducting applied research and evaluation projects generated from these organizations
    • Promoting high–quality applied research and publication efforts of UWF graduate faculty

RMERA Conference Coming to UWF

The University of West Florida will host the 46th Annual Conference of the Rocky Mountain Educational Research Association (RMERA) on Oct. 23 through 25 at the Hampton Inn on Pensacola Beach. RMERA, an affiliate of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) has issued a call for papers that will remain open through Aug. 1, 2014.

The conference is open to all faculty and students, and will include presenters from five states. The three-day event will feature research presentations, symposia, and a poster presentation session.
