Advising
Students have many advising resources at UWF. You can seek help from faculty, departmental, and divisional advisors. Additionally, freshmen advisors are available at the University Advising Center in Building 18 and assist students with academic questions.
Students attending classes at the Emerald Coast Campus may seek advising from the advisors on their regional campus or arrange to meet with a Pensacola campus advisor.
Your academic and faculty advisor and her/his contact information is listed near the top of your SASS (Degree) Audit. Access your audit on MyUWF.
Registration
Students may register online through MyUWF according to their current enrollment status.
Tips for Registration:
- Registration dates may be found on the academic calendar.
- Courses for the upcoming semester are usually available for review at least three weeks before registration begins.
- Refer to your degree audit and talk with your academic advisor to identify specific requirements. Also discuss department course sequencing. Some courses may only be offered once a year.
- If the course you want to take requires permission, check with the department offering the course to get a permission code. You will not be able to register for the course without the permission code.
- Ensure you have completed the prerequisite courses (if any). If you believe you met a prerequisite at another institution, discuss this with your academic advisor.
- Check your MyUWF account to ensure you do not have any registration holds.
