Upon completion of the course, students will have acquired basic knowledge about autism spectrum disorders, a conceptual understanding of autism, the ability to discuss current criteria used to identify individuals who are autistic, and be informed of examples of intervention methods, behavior management strategies and therapy approaches currently available to facilitate the developmental progress of individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
UWF Continuing Education's partner Ed2Go offers a wide variety of 6-week non-credit online courses. New sessions of each six-week course starts monthly, with two lessons released weekly. Our Language and Culture personal enrichment courses allow students the opportunity to learn about culture and customs from experienced instructors. Course options include Hiragana Katakana Japanese Writing, HSK I (Introduction to Mandarin), Conversational Japanese and Sushi Workshops.

Designed for students with little or no prior knowledge of the written form of Japanese language. Hiragana and Katakana are two basic components of written Japanese language. In this course students will learn simple words, phrases and expressions of Japanese language. Mastery of the correct stroke orders for Japanese characters will also be covered. Upon completion of the course students will understand how to read and write Hiragana and Katakan.
