Born and raised in Pensacola, Florida, Brandice Purvis started dancing when she was three years old. At age 15 she won her first dance scholarship in Miami at the Florida dance festival and New World College. At 18 she moved to Orlando to work for Walt Disney World, performing and dancing in various shows and parades while continuing her education. She has been in commercials, written and directed local tours and entertainment events, and has even appeared on national television. Now Brandice lives in Pensacola again and is a mother of three, a dance teacher, choreographer, and director. Her passion for culture and her love of children brought her to The Global Corner, a local non-profit dedicated to teaching children about the world. There, she teaches her favorite subjects, international Music & Dance, to elementary school students.
