New Student Registration
All new students must start with the Foundations in Applied Behavior Analysis course (EDF 6225). We offer two registration methods for new EDF 6225 enrollments.
Register for EDF 6225 - Foundations in ABA
Our courses have interactive online weekly course meetings. Students must attend the first class meeting, but then have the option to attend and participate live or to watch the recording of each course at another time during the week.
Registration Option 1
First, apply to UWF as a Non-Degree Seeking graduate student. Use the link below to apply as a Masters level student for the semester that you plan to enroll (Spring, Summer, or Fall).
You may choose applied behavior analysis or exceptional student education for field of study.
It usually takes at least 24 hours for that application to process. Once it has processed, you will be sent a UWF ID# from Admissions. Once you have your UWF ID, you can login to the myUWF portal and complete the two remaining tasks:
1. Follow the instructions to remove the financial responsibility hold.
2. To remove immunization hold, you will need your UWF ID prior to completing. This is required of all (even online) students, but you have the option to decline or exempt yourself from the immunizations since you will be an online student.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org once process is complete, and our team will assist with registration from there.
Registration Option 2 - Continuing Education Website
If you are a new non-degree seeking student, you may utilize UWF’s continuing education website. This enables you instantly reserve your spot in class. If you choose registraiton option 2, you are still required to complete the UWF admission process listed in in Option 1 by the time class begins.
Here is the link to register for sections of EDF 6225 Foundations of Applied Behavior Analysis. You may choose a Central Time (CST) or Pacific Time (PST) course offering:
You will need to create a free profile on the UWF Continuing Education website.
Much like an online shopping experience, you will add the course to your cart and submit payment online to reserve your spot in class. If you cannot pay the full price of the course up front, there is an alternate payment form linked in each course description. Please complete the alternate payment form if you need to utilize any of the following options and our office will assist you with registration:
- Payment plan (half tuition due upon registration, half due at the midpoint of the course)
- Continuing education loans (such as Sallie Mae or Wells Fargo - payment must be received by the fist day of class
