Patti Spaniola joined UWF in December 2008. During this time, she has managed non-credit programs including open enrollment courses for professional and personal development, non-credit certificates, Explore Summer Camps, Leisure Learning, marketing, Student Support Center and Student Outreach Program. As Director since August 2017, Patti oversees all Continuing Education programs, Custom Training and Business Operations. She also serves as CE’s meeting planning professional.
Active in the community, Patti has volunteered her time to serve on committees and boards promoting education including Association for Talent Development, Next Generation Learning Community, Men of Color Conference, and the UWF Etiquette Dinner. She is active in the Association for Continuing Higher Education having served as Chair of the South Region and currently as Director at Large of the national organization.
Patti earned an M.B.A. from Regis University in Colorado Springs, CO and a Bachelor of Science in Speech from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).
Having spent most of her life in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Patti loves to hike and spend time outdoors. Since moving to Florida, she has fully embraced coastal living and enjoys searching for seashells on Pensacola’s lovely beaches.
