Announcements for External Scholarship Opportunities
The department provides several forms of financial support to CS majors:
Scholarships are awarded with no work requirement. Assistantships are paid positions for assisting faculty with research or teaching.
The end of April is the deadline for submission of scholarship applications for the following fall and spring semesters. Example: April 2013 application would be valid for fall 2013 and spring 2014. Students can re-submit an application for spring semester in December. The department sometimes has unallocated funds if a student previously awarded an annual scholarship does not utilize the award. Summer semesters are not included for most scholarships.
