There will be two ceremonies held on Saturday, December 13, 2008, at the Pensacola Civic Center, located at 201 East Gregory Street in downtown Pensacola.
| The first ceremony will be for
those earning a Bachelor's Degree (undergraduate students). This
ceremony will be held at 9:00 a.m. and should last approximately
two hours. |
The second ceremony is for those arning Master's, Specialist, and Doctoral Degrees (graduate students). This ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m. and should last approximately one to one and a half hours. |
BEFORE THE UNDERGRADUATE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY:
President Cavanaugh will host a continental breakfast beginning at 8:00 a.m.
for the Faculty and A&P Staff, guest speakers, and the platform party. The
breakfast will be held in Room A on the first floor of the Civic Center.
Please inform President Cavanaugh of your intent to attend
the continental breakfast and/or participate in the ceremony by completing
and submitting the Faculty and Staff RSVP form
by Friday, December 5, 2008. Your cooperation
in submitting your response electronically is greatly appreciated.
RESERVED PARKING AT THE CIVIC CENTER
Your UWF decal will serve as your parking permit in the reserved lot in front
of the Civic Center, although late arrivals may not find a parking space at
this location since this is a limited lot. You may also park in the lot behind
the Civic Center or directly across Alcaniz Street.
GRADUATE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY:
Please plan on arriving at 2 p.m. in order to process in beginning
at 2:20 p.m.
