DEADLINES for all scholarships:

• Fall Term: Deadline is March 15
• Spring Term: Deadline is November 15

The following scholarships will pay a minimum of $250 per semester. For each scholarship, the student must submit the following:

• A letter stating the following about the applicant:
  1.  interest in applying for the scholarship
  2.  eligibility for that scholarship
  3.  discussion of career plans and ambitions
• An updated resume.

Pat Lloyd Tiger Bay Scholarship

• Must be a student in good standing in the Journalism Track

Eric B. Calcagni Memorial Scholarship

• Must be a student in good standing in the Telecommunication/Film Track (Radio/TV/Film)
• Selection will be made on the basis of aptitude, promise and passion for the field. GPA is not a factor in this scholarship, but compassion for coworkers and associates is.

Susan L. Morris Memorial Scholarship

• Must be a student in good standing in the Telecommunication/Film Track (Radio/TV/Film)
• Must demonstrate service to the department and commitment to and enthusiasm for the discipline.

Pensacola Press Club Scholarship

• Student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Student must have attended high school in the Escambia/Santa Rosa County area.

James J. Marks Forensics Scholarship

• Awarded to a student on UWF's Forensics Team.

NOTE: Only a limited number of small graduate scholarships/stpends are available. Please check with Dr. Brendan Kelly, the department chair, regarding financial resources.
