Leadership Advisory Council

Members of the Leadership Advisory Council for Nursing

The Leadership Advisor Council was established in 2013. It will be comprised of a diverse group of leaders who will provide expertise, advice and resources to enhance the quality of nursing education within the Department. The purpose of the LAC is to ensure a close professional relationship between leaders in the community and in nursing education at UWF in order to:

  1. Assist in the recruitment of outstanding students and faculty to the Department.
  2. Provide input and advice on long-range planning.
  3. Participate in academic practice partnerships.
  4. Function as an advocacy group for the UWF Department of Nursing.
  5. Assist the Department in securing funding.
