Dr. Angela Hahn, chair, teaches health science and human physiology.

Dr. Hahn has an academic interest in developing teaching tools that prepare students for changing demands in the healthcare workforce. She has designed online and traditional classroom courses in human physiology, health science technology, health sciences research and public health preparedness. She has interests in learning assessment, program evaluation, and health policy. Dr. Hahn is the UWF HOSA Future Health Professionals faculty advisor and was recognized as the 2012 Outstanding Faculty Advisor for Florida HOSA. She was identified as a "Difference Maker" by Quint and Rishy Studer for her work with HOSA students in 2014.

Before coming to UWF in 2006, she taught biology at Central Carolina Community College.

She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from UWF, and doctorate in microbiology and immunology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is also working towards a master’s in public health from UWF.
