Adam McCloskey joined The Florida SBDC at the University of West Florida in 2016 as a Growth Business Consultant in Fort Walton Beach after a successful career in the media industry.
His experience in radio includes launching a sports talk station in Albuquerque, serving as the program director for multiple stations on the Florida Panhandle, and helping local businesses develop their marketing and branding strategies as a production director for six years.
As the marketing and research coordinator for a large cable company, he worked with small businesses to design and maximize effectiveness for television, search engine marketing, digital and mobile advertising campaigns.
In 2010, Adam received a BA in economics & telecommunications and film from the University of West Florida. Georgia Southern University awarded him a Master of Science in Applied Economics in 2013 with concentrations in financial economics and regional economic development.
He has his Google Analytics Certification and is a member of the World Economics Association.
