Haas Center for Business Research and Economic Development - exists to help entrepreneurs and industry leaders meet their information needs. Named for Raymond Haas, a community leader and philanthropist remembered for his contributions and service to the university and region, the Haas Center collects, analyzes and distributes information about the Northwest Florida region.

Services provided by the Haas Center:

• Northwest Florida Economy, a quarterly newsletter published by the Haas Center
• Data analysis for economic forecasting, marketing research, business expansion, tourism, and real estate development
• Sponsored research projects, including: index of consumer sentiment, economic impact studies, tourism research, and rural economic development

UWF Small Business Development Center - is a member of the nationally accredited Florida Small Business Development Center Network (FSBDCN). The FSBDCN creates a link between the state's education system and community outreach to provide aid in the development and education of Florida's entrepreneurs and small business community. If you are interested in starting a business, improving cash flow, winning government contracts, or improving managerial skills, then the Small Business Development Center at the University of West Florida is the place for you.
