DR. CARL BACKMAN, DR. MARTY HORNYAK, AND DR. TIM O'KEEFE MAKE AN INVITED PRESENTATION AT ATARI

Dr. Carl Backman, Marty Hornyak, and Tim O'Keefe of the College of Business made an invited presentation on "Assessment in the context of discipline based Accreditation: Focus on Assurance of Learning in a College of Business" at the 2nd Annual Assessment Training and Research Institute held at Florida A&M University (Tallahassee) in May 2010. The Assessment Training and Research Institute [ATARI], hosted by the Florida A&M University, aims to help practitioners develop/reinforce the skills of designing and managing the challenges of implementing assessment programs, processes, or projects. The theme for the 2nd Annual ATARI was "The Closed Loop: Where is the Evidence". Conference presentations highlighted research on how assessment activities have enhanced student performance, student services, and/ or developed institutional effectiveness.
