Dr. Rebecca McBride


Dr. Rebecca McBride is an Instructor and the Coordinator of the Educational Leadership Certification Program in the Department of Teacher Education and Educational Leadership.

Dr. McBride, a former elementary school teacher and principal, earned an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Development from UWF. Other degrees from UWF are Ed.S. in Educational Leadership, M.Ed. in Administration/Supervision, and B.A. in Elementary Education.

She has taught a wide range of courses. She currently teaches Introduction to Educational Leadership but has also taught the following:  The Principalship, Administration of School Personnel, Integrated Reading Curriculum Field Experience, Senior Seminar: Teaching in the Elementary School, and Principles of Curriculum Development. 

Dr. McBride serves on the Professional Development Council for Santa Rosa County.

Degrees & Institutions:

Dr. McBride received a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a master's degree in Educational Leadership, and an Educational Speacialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. She continued at UWF to earn doctorate degree in Curriculum and Development.
