If you are mapping multiple types of features or will be collecting attributes with your features, it is strongly advisable to create a data dictionary in the Lab before going out to the field.

After finishing in the field you will need to transfer the data from the Trimble to a computer.

Once downloaded, it is recommended that you post-process your features using differential correction to get improved positional accuracy.

In newer versions this simple conversion can get a bit tricky. This short video will walk you though creating a shapefile with proper referencing information from collected GPS features in Trimble Pathfinder.

With proper preparation, using the Juno's Terrasync software in the field is relatively easy and intuitive.
