The University offers a wide variety of scholarships and grants. To apply for undergraduate merit awards, prospective students should contact the Office of Admissions. To apply for graduate merit awards, students should contact the academic department of their program. Newly admitted undergraduate students are automatically considered for need-based scholarships if a financial aid file is complete by March 1st.

The UWF Foundation provides scholarships that are made possible by private contributions. Selection criteria and awarding sources vary. However, the University's centralized scholarship processing provides for automatic distribution of all applications to all applicable awarding sources.
