Weekly Tutoring Schedule

The Writing Lab offers weekly tutoring to review the rules of grammar and writing through the weekly skill-of-the-week sessions.


Things to Consider About Tutoring

  • Skill-of-the-Week sessions are offered only during the dates specified below from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Each session begins on the hour, so the last session of the day begins at 4:00 p.m.;
  • Consider our Grammar Live @ 5 on Elluminate Live sessions if you miss a skill;
  • Skill-of-the-Week Tutoring sessions are offered at only;
  • The letters a and b beside a week in the schedule indicate that two different skills are offered that week. Of the 10 weeks the Lab offers hourly grammar sessions, four of those weeks are two-skill weeks, meaning you might need to attend two sessions during those weeks. Check the chart at the bottom of this page for more information about two skill weeks;
  • Check your Student Lab Work Form to see which skills you need;
  • Click on the skills to review the grammar rules.

  • Every Friday from January 26 - April 6, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

  • For COB students only
  • Monday - Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in Building 76A, Room 101
