Mark Lambert, instructor of communication, teaches television production, electronic field production, news production, broadcast journalism and history of television.
From copywriting to videography to directing live programming, Lambert has mastered diverse skills during his 31 years working in broadcast production. To prepare students for today’s competitive job market, Lambert incorporates hands-on projects into the curriculum so students can put educational concepts into practice. This experience enhances students’ knowledge and skills, and improves confidence when they enter the workforce.
Before coming to UWF, Lambert worked in various capacities for NBC and CBS news station affiliates in Pennsylvania, and the PBS station in Pensacola. From 1984 to 2003, he was production supervisor for UWF-TV 4, producing educational videos for the University.
Degrees & Institutions:
Lambert received a bachelor’s degree in television programming and production from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in communication arts from the University of West Florida.
