    • Short Bio: Ghioto has taught online and in the classroom at UWF since 2003. He teaches JOU 3314, Environmental Reporting; JOU 3100, News Reporting; and JOU 3700, Issues in Journalism. Ghioto worked as a reporter, bureau chief, editor and correspondent for daily newspapers in New England, including The Boston Globe and Foster’s Daily Democrat. He was employed by United Press International and Reuters and worked at the Pensacola News Journal from 2009-2014 as content editor and chief content editor.

    • Short Bio: Christine Young spent 25 years as a journalist, is the author of "A Bitter Brew: Faith, Power and Poison in a Small New England Town," and contributing author of "True Stories of False Confessions." Her work helped free an innocent man from prison, exposed migrant worker abuse, and the illegal election practices of a powerful religious lobbying group. Ms. Young holds a BA in Arts & Humanities from the University of Southern Maine in and a MA in Journalism from Columbia University.
