16th Annual Women's Studies Conference
The 16th annual Women's Studies Conference at UWF is scheduled for Friday, March 24 from 8am-8pm in the UWF Conference Center. In addition to the presentation of the Mary F. Rogers Faculty Award, the conference will feature scholarly papers, poster presentations, visual and performance art pieces by graduate and undergraduate students that address women, gender, and sexuality.
The evening keynote address will be delivered by Captain Wendy Lawrence, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, and a seasoned astronaut with 4 space flights and over 1225 hours logged in space.
