UWF's bachelor of arts degree in history offers students interested in the humanities or social sciences a flexible program which can be custom designed to satisfy a wide range of interests.
History students can take elective courses in literature, communication arts, political science, anthropology, psychology plus other arts and social science courses. Students who want to prepare for careers in business may want to elect courses in management, marketing, computer science, accounting and finance. Many history majors have used their degrees to enter the teaching profession.
