The Kugelman Honors Program participates in three Honors conferences a year. The Florida Collegiate Honors Council (FCHC), the Southern Regional Honors Council (SRHC), and the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC). Kugelman Honors students are required to present their thesis at one of these conferences, at a conference within their major, or at UWF's Student Scholar Symposium.
Honors conferences are great way to present Honors related research and learn what other Honors Programs are doing.
Students have many presentation options:
General Session- lecture-style presentation option.
Poster Session- present research to a large audience.
Round Table Session- collaborative exchange with a smaller group.
Research Panel- Research paper presentation.
Students can present on anything Honors related, such as their thesis, Honors courses, Honors Council events, or the Honors Living and Learning Community.
