B.A in Art

The BA curriculum has a liberal arts orientation, and is awarded to students in three specializations:

Studio Art Specialization

Within the studio art specialization, students can concentrate in any one of several media, each with its own dedicated facilities and equipment: drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, computer imaging, printmaking, photography, and ceramics

Graphic Design Specialization

The Graphic Design Specialization provides students with the necessary background to enter the competitive world of print and web design.

Art History Specialization

Two directions are open to art history majors: one prepares students for future graduate school study; the other is geared more toward the practical training needed for museum and gallery professionals.
