Andrasik, Frank (PhD) | |
| Frank Andrasik is a Distinguished University Professor in the Department of Psychology, University of West Florida. Previously he held the positions of Assistant and Associate Professor, Department of Psychology, SUNY-Albany, NY; Research Associate Professor, Department of Neurology, Albany Medical College; and Associate Director, Pain Therapy Centers, Greenville, SC. He is the present Editor-in-Chief for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, having served as past Editor-in-Chief for Behavior Therapy. He holds the status of Fellow in the American Psychological Association (Division of Health Psychology and Society of Clinical Psychology), American Psychological Society, and Society of Behavioral Medicine. He is a Past President of the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, and recently became President-Elect of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. He has published and presented extensively (authoring over 250 articles and chapters and several texts for professionals). | ||

Barry, Leasha (PhD) | |
| An Associate Professor in the School of Education at the University of West Florida, Leasha Barry’s scholarly and creative activities combine her interests in special education and psychology. Her focus is predominately in the areas of Applied Behavior Analysis and Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions applied to individuals with exceptionalities or individuals who are “at risk” for school failure. Dr. Barry’s most significant impact is in supporting self-management and self-determination in these populations, enabling individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mental Retardation, ADHD and others to learn to take control of aspects of their lives including academic, social, and emotional indicators using self-management interventions. | ||

Gains, Trudy (PhD) | |
| Trudy Gains is a Visiting Instructor at The University of West Florida, School of Teacher Education. Her area of specialty is Special Education with an emphasis on at-risk students and students with emotional and behavioral disorders. She is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and is in private counseling practice with a similar emphasis. She has previously worked as a therapist and educational coordinator for adolescents adjudicated as adults in the Escambia County Jail and continues to work in her practice with youth in the juvenile justice system and their families. | ||

Gerber, Wolf-Dieter (PhD) | |
| Wolf-Dieter Gerber received his Ph.D. in psychology, education and medicine and in Habilitation from the University of Tubingen (Germany). He is presently the Director of the Institute of Medical Psychology and Medical Sociology, Kiel University Hospital, where he is a Full Professor. Dr. Gerber’s research and clinical interests are diverse and span varied aspects of behavioral medicine and psychobiology. Some of his current projects concern psychooncology, psychotraumatology, chronic diseases in children, and biobehavioral treatments for children with ADHD. This latter work includes development of a summer camp program for children with ADHD that employs multiple modalities. | ||

Hagerott, Karen (PhD) |

Karen Patterson Hagerott, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist specializing in pediatric neuropsychology. She has practiced psychology in the Pensacola area since 1990, with her office presently being located in Pace, Florida. In her practice she provides evaluation and treatment services to children with known or suspected neurological and developmental conditions, such as traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, genetic disorders, Tourette Syndrome, learning disorders, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder. She also addresses the developmental or cognitive impact of medical disorders. Raised in the Boston area, she attended William Smith College, received her M.A. and Ph.D. at Wayne State University in Michigan, and completed a neuropsychology internship at Children's Hospital of Michigan. |

Lutz, Joshua (EdS, NCSP) | |
| Joshua Lutz earned his Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology from the University of Central Florida in May 2001. He has worked as a school psychologist in Osceola County Florida (until July 2007) and Escambia County, Florida (current) in a variety of elementary, middle, high school, and alternative education settings with a wide range of students of all ability levels. He is active in the Florida Association of School Psychologists and has held the position of East Central Region Representative(2002-04), Professional Development Chair (2004-05), Conference Chair (2005-06), President Elect (2006-07), President (2007-08) and Immediate Past President (2008-09). He lives in Gulf Breeze, Florida with his wife and two children. | ||

Simkin, Deborah (MD) |

| Dr. Simkin is the Program Director and Section Head for the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for the Department of Psychiatry at the University of South Alabama. She is also Adjunct Associate Professor. She is board certified in Child and Adolescent, Adult and Addiction Psychiatry. She trained at Harvard's McLean and Mass General Hospital and was a high school teacher for 10 years before going to medical school. Her research interests include ADHD and Learning Disorders. She is the author of several chapters on adolescent substance abuse and neurobiology. | ||
