The Business Processes Office at UWF is a "virtual" office without a permanent staff; rather, various departments collaborate to enact and support business process improvement projects for the university. The umbrella effort to support business process improvement is coordinated by the Chief Information Officer.

Responsibility for leading business process improvement initiatives lies with the departments who are the process and service owners. The Business Processes Office works in a support role to assist these initiatives.
