Sculptural Ceramics Workshop
Workshop Description: The Sculptural Ceramics workshop will focus on the intrinsic materiality of clay. We will work on projects that emphasize the ephemeral nature of unfired clay as well as investigating clays’ potential to mimic other materials through mold making and slip casting. Through exploring these polar modes of production we will have the opportunity to explore ceramics multiple identities; archaeological relic, utilitarian object, and a purely aesthetic object.
