Modern Physics I

Welcome to Modern Physics I!

Modern Physics I is a course designed to introduce the student to the end of classical mechanics and usher in the foundations to modern physics. This class utilizes a "flipped classroom" model. This means that the student must read the chapter and/or watch a video prior to coming to class. Class time is then spent on engaging discussions of physical concepts, group problem solving, and individual clicker quesitions. This method of teaching minimizes the passive learning that takes place in a standard lecture and replaces it with active learning through guided student participation and discovery.
