Feedback from Faculty

This feedback was compiled from faculty participating in the Online Instructor Certificate program and the Quality Matters courses.

Again thanks for everything. My first semester assessments from my students came in. I am glad to say that my chair said they were stellar. ATC certainly helped me out during my first ever class, online or otherwise, so I just wanted to say thanks.

Thanks. I am also enrolled in ATC's "Designing a Quality Course" class, while redesigning my class (which will include the QM principles) for the summer term. I just wanted to say I truly enjoyed the class - I have learned so many QM principles that I am now implementing into my summer classes.

The best part of this course was the interaction with other instructors and the opportunity to see examples of how they had fulfilled the assignments.

Only after going through the course, one realizes how important it is for every online teacher to take it or become familiar with the QM principles.  As teachers are usually quite busy, I would like to make a suggestion to institutions to perhaps have a series of mini courses covering one standard at a time over the period of one semester.  I appreciated the opportunity and learned a lot.  Perhaps more teachers will be able to benefit from this course.  Thank you, June, for your guidance.

It gave me more insight into design and format as well as clarity. I also enjoyed the general standard documents. They will serve as a nice reference tool for my class that begins in a couple of weeks. :)

I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering delivering or designing an online course, as well as anyone interested in QM overall.

A great course for all online instructors. Thank you for the opportunity. It will help me review my courses to ensure all elements of the course are well aligned and contribute to helping the students achieve the objectives of the course.

The best part of this course: discussion[s] with other faculty and sharing best practices.
