DEVELOP a Quality Online Course
During development of your online course, you will:
Prepare all content for online delivery:
- develop new materials (text, graphics, and multimedia files)
- convert existing files to appropriate formats
- develop supplemental materials if needed
- ensure appropriate software is available so that students can access all course content
Create your course in eLearning (D2L) - After all the materials have been developed, the next step is to build the actual course in eLearning. This part of the process involves several steps:
- create a course development master shell and upload or create all content materials
- set course tech codes to create a course implementation shell in the eLearning system
- copy all content materials from course development master shell into system created course shell
- set up course components (gradebook, discussions, quizzes, news, etc.)
- set us class management options (start/end dates, conditional releases, etc.)
