The Academic Technology Center was formed in late fall 2003 as part of the IT Strategic Plan. The center is comprised of a team of highly energetic, creative and talented members. With the formation of the ATC, we have been able to catalyze distance learning at UWF through the design and development of several fully online programs, partnerships with other institutions and organizations, and through extensive involvement with the Department of Defense, the U.S. Coast Guard Institute and the U.S. Navy. We continue to evolve as a center as we contemplate innovations in technology and their applications to teaching and learning.
