The Quality Online Instructor Certificate is awarded to faculty who successfully complete the Quality Online Certificate program offered through ATC.
The course descriptions are:
Designing a Quality Online/Blended Course (6-week, fully online course)
This course requires roughly 2 hours per week to complete. Designing a Quality Online Course is for all faculty or instructors who plan to develop an online or blended course. The purpose of this course is to facilitate faculty’s online/blended course design and development process. The ATC course facilitators work collaboratively with faculty to help translate what normally occurs in a traditional classroom to an appropriate online/blended mode or perhaps a new approach to accomplishing the same instructional goals and objectives.

Teaching a Quality Online/Blended Course (6-week, fully online course)
This course requires about 3-5 hours per week to complete. The purpose of this six-week online course is to facilitate the implementation of instructional strategies that have been proven through the research to be essential to successful online/blended teaching and is facilitated by a QM Faculty Scholar.
