eLearning (D2L) Tutorials and Resources

UWF's online course Learning Management System (LMS) is Desire2Learn (D2L). As mentioned previously, UWF students know it as eLearning. The LMS provides a range of tools to support student learning and the administration of online courses at UWF. Instructors can deliver virtually any content to students through eLearning that could be delivered in the traditional classroom. You will need to become very familiar with the types of tools you will use when teaching online including communication tools, dropboxes, assessment tools, and the gradebook.

• Set up Gradebook - ATC recommends setting up your Gradebook first. By doing so, you can then link any assessments items (quizzes, discussions, dropbox) to the Gradebook.
