The Academic Technology Center was created to support the goals and imperatives of the university’s IT Strategic Plan. Consequently, ATC serves as a catalyst for the development and application of new technologies that facilitate effective teaching and learning in distance education environments.
The Academic Technology Center’s primary focus is the development and implementation of quality online instruction. ATC accomplishes this by applying its conceptual framework of the “Five Areas of Excellence”. Everything ATC strives to accomplish is based upon these five areas
- Institutional Goals;
- Quality Curriculum;
- Faculty Support;
- Student Support;
- Continuous Improvement.
