Through the University of West Florida Department of Art's program in Graphic Design and Digital Media, students can take internships with local businesses in the areas of graphic design for print and web development. Past internships include, Coco Design Associates, Inc., and Splash magazine.
Internships are usually reserved for seniors that enroll in the class entitled Electronic Media Senior Project where they participate on a regular basis in in-class critique and benefit from one on one mentorship with their instructor. This class is also designed for students to complete self directed art projects and develop portfolios which ultimately provides each student with a well-rounded exposure to the multitude of functions for the digital studio.
