The Association Among Sex Education, Age, and Contraception Use at First Intercourse

Abstract:
This study examined whether the presence of sexual education either at home, school, or both would delay the age at which youth engage in sexual intercourse. Implications for the advocacy of formal sex education programs in schools are discussed.

Using Motivations as Predictors of Team Sport Participant Positive or Negative Outcomes

Abstract:
Data were collected from one-hundred-two local athletes via a questionnaire containing the Sport Motivation Scale and three outcome measures. Intrinsic motivation and amotivation were found to predict positive and negative outcomes, respectively.
