The Association Among Sex Education, Age, and Contraception Use at First Intercourse

Abstract:
This study examined whether the presence of sexual education either
at home, school, or both would delay the age at which youth engage in
sexual intercourse. Implications for the advocacy of formal sex
education programs in schools are discussed.
