Siska Williams graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of West Georgia. She worked on a late Archaic period shell mound in Savannah, GA and has studied abroad in Egypt, Cuba and Spain. In addition, she has worked on sites in Sapelo Island, GA and Pensacola, FL. Siska's interests include historical archaeology, both terrestrial and underwater; the post-Contact period; and the trading firm Panton, Leslie, and Company. She works for the department as a research assistant in the Archaeological Institute. Degree and focus: Historical Archaeology, Terrestrial.
