Nicole Tumbleson graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in History and a minor in Anthropology. She has worked on maritime and terrestrial projects in St. John's County, Pensacola, and Tampa in Florida, and the Chattahoochie River in Georgia. She spent the Summer of 2006 working in Houston for C & C Technologies learning about sonar and 3D imaging in deep water environments. Her interests are ship construction, post-Columbus contact, maritime history and the Gulf Coast Blockading Squadron during the Civil War in Florida. Degree and focus: Anthropology, Maritime.
