Sarah Mitchell graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in Anthropology and International Studies. She has worked at Fernbank Museum of Natural History on the St. Catherine's Island collection, as well as with the Coosawattee Foundation in Calhoun, GA. She has also spent time on the Ravensford site in Cherokee, NC and excavated extensively across the southeastern United States. She is currently working for the department as a research assistant.
