Patrick Johnson graduated in 2008 with a B.A. in Anthropology and and a minor in Museum Studies from Beloit College. During his undergraduate career, he volunteered in Alabama at Fort Mims, Plash Island, Orange Beach, Old Mobile, and Fort Toulouse. While studying abroad in Xalapa, Mexico and doing fieldwork in Mexico and Chile, he considered a Mesoamerican focus, but returned to the Southeast in the form of two summers digging in Fredericksburg, VA.
