Mercedes
Harrold received her B.A. in Anthropology and Classical Civilizations from
Florida State University in 2008. She participated in the 2005 FSU Underwater
Archaeological Field School and the 2007 Field School at the Martin/de Soto
site in Tallahassee through FSU and the Bureau of Archaeological Research.
Her interests include the Spanish Colonial period with emphasis on the Manila
Galleon aspect of the trading relationship between the Philippines, New Spain,
and La Florida. Degree and focus: Historical Archaeology, Maritime.
