Dear Potential Sisters,

On behalf of the girls from Alpha Delta Pi I just wanted to start off by saying how excited we are about meeting all of you. We have been so busy and hard at work planning an amazing Recruitment to welcome you all to the University of West Florida and to the Zeta Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi. We pride ourselves in being able to say that we were the first sorority ever created and we strive everyday to live up to the high standards set by our six founding women. We are very eager to add another wonderful group of dedicated, unique, and classy women to help contribute to the traditions of Alpha Delta Pi and our chapter here at UWF.

Alpha Delta Pi sorority was founded at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia. The original name was "The Adelphean Society," derived from the Greek word meaning "Sister." Not only are we a sorority of firsts, but we're also a sisterhood of leaders. Sisters find Alpha Delta Pi a safe place to draw on their unique experiences and make their mark in college and beyond. Our Sorority offers members tremendous leadership opportunities by participating in campus activities, community events, and serving as chapter officers.  Everywhere you look, you are sure to see an involved Alpha Delta Pi sister!

At Alpha Delta Pi, we are a sisterhood of friends, a family of individuals and a home away from home. We embrace every woman's uniqueness. We encourage and support each other's goals and dreams and we value character above all else. As sisters, we take an oath to live by our motto: "We Live For Each Other." So no matter where you are in the world, your home is where your sisters are. Come home to Alpha Delta Pi. Come home to the First and the Finest... Forever!

We look forward to meeting you,

Danni Bell

"Sororities symbolize all that we wish to accomplish in our lives. They represent the struggles we all face as we grow. Why we cling to them no one can explain, but in the end, we are all stronger for it." ~ Unknown
