Welcome to the Advising Center!

Welcome to the UWF Advising Center. We are here to assist freshmen with their academic growth. The center is dedicated to helping our freshmen students achieve their academic goals.

All incoming freshmen have a "hold" for advising. During orientation you will meet one on one with an advisor in our office to design a course of study and choose your classes for the upcoming semester. Sign-up for orientation today! After orientation you will have your advising hold lifted until it is time to meet with your advisor to choose classes for the following semester.

Major Change Update

Major/minor changes and dual/additional degree changes have been previously processed by our office. We are in the process of transitioning these to the Registrar's Office. We will continue to keep forms in our office, so you are welcome to pick them up at any time and they will still be available online. When you have completed your form(s) you may take them to the Registrar's Office (building 18 on the Pensacola campus) for processing.
