Instructor & Advisor |
Chat Sue has been an academic advisor in the Advising Center since 1995. Though he is the liaison with the College of
Arts and Sciences for lower division students, he is able to advise all majors during their first two years at UWF. He holds
bachelor's and master's degrees from The University of Mississippi and has completed graduate course work at Florida State
University. Prior to coming to UWF in 1986, he worked in a variety of administrative and counseling positions, including career
planning and cooperative education, residence life, and foreign student advisement.
As an advisor, Mr. Sue is responsible for teaching Student Life Skills, a freshman seminar course to assist new students in
adjusting to the campus and college life. He is especially interested in the importance of student involvement in campus
activities, as well as the need for students to receive career-related work experience before they graduate..
