Current Students Applying for Financial Aid
Current students should complete the New Student process if they have not completed a FAFSA for this year and been awarded for Fall 2013 and/or Spring 2014 semesters. Current Pell Grant recipients will automatically be awarded any remaining Pell eligibility once registered for their Summer courses. Because Pell Grant is limited to 2 semesters of full-time enrollment per academic year, if you attended UWF (or another institution) full-time during Fall and Spring semesters, there is no eligibility for Summer. In order to apply for Direct Loan funds for the Summer, complete the Direct Loan Request Form. You must be enrolled in at least six credit hours in order to receive a Direct Loan. Once your aid is processed you will receive a revised award letter which will include your Summer eligibility.
Always remember that you have access to your financial aid information through your MyUWF account. If you have any questions regarding summer financial aid, please contact the Financial Aid Office in Building 18. The Financial Aid Office can be reached at (850) 474-2400 or through email.
