Visiting Students


UWF offers a variety of summer courses that allow you the flexibility to enroll at UWF, complete UWF courses and have your credits transferred to your home institution. UWF offers convenient courses scheduled during multiple terms throughout the summer. Take advantage of a variety of course offerings online, in Pensacola and Emerald Coast. 

If you are a visiting student from another a Florida Public University or State/Community College and wish to take classes at UWF, you should complete the complete a Transient student application. For visiting students attending a university outside of Florida, complete the Non-Degree application. Once we have received your application please allow 1-2 days to process your application.

Transient Application

The Transient Student process is designed for degree-seeking students who are actively enrolled at a Florida Public University or State/Community College. Students who have permission to enroll in courses at UWF can complete the Transient Student Application which is available online through Florida Virtual Campus, FLVC.org.

After submitting your transient student application through FLVC.org please review your next steps. For questions about applying or starting UWF as a transient student please contact the Office of the Registrar.

Non-Degree Application

Non-degree applicants are not required to submit any transcripts for admission purposes. Although, many academic departments may need a student's unofficial transcript to show that a course pre-requisite has been satisfied.
