UWF offers advance degrees in more than 50 academic specializations. We have a combination of over 1250 students pursuing master’s, educational specialist, or doctoral degrees. The UWF faculty is a fellowship of 332 scholars, researchers, and professionals, 80% of whom hold the highest degree in their field. Faculty research grants totaled $25 million last year. We have great resources as our university subscribes to many information sites, like Dow Jones Interactive and GaleNet. Our main computer lab has 110 general-purpose workstations, plus others for e-mail, printing, group study, and accessibility. We have more than 40 academic labs with 300 total workstations and a CyberLounge. Our Library has 665,000 volumes, 6,000 current periodicals, 830,000 items in special collections, and online access to statewide, regional, and national data resources. Classes are stimulating and professors are accessible. The sheer number of opportunities that UWF offers is amazing.
