Student membership in to the ACM yields insight into computing as a science
and a profession. Various publications and conferences, available through
the membership, keep students informed of state-of-the-art developments and
allow them to meet and observe accomplished professionals from all areas of
the industry. Participation in a professional organization is also prima-facie
evidence of serious interest and dedication (ACM Student Chapter Manual, pg.
5).
Membership Dues
The local membership fee is $15 per semester or $20 for a year, and requires an annual membership with the national chapter.
There are four levels of membership at the national level:
a) Student Portal Package -- $42
b) Student Print Package -- $42
c) Student Portal and Print Package -- $62
d) *Student Lite Package -- $19 (suggested membership package)

If you are already a member of the national chapter of ACM,
your membership dues will consist only of the
$10
local chapter fee.
